The only thing I was looking forward to during this Chinese torture trip was a chance to visit Zaha Hadid's Guangzhou Opera House aka "double pebble". And here I was! certainly worth the trip even if rather disappointed by the 'made-in-china' aspects of it, but somewhat not at all surprised.
